DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty HECU
Enable Condition
  • Continuously on driving over 22km/h (13.6mph)
Threshold Value
  • If continuous operation of ESP (ESC) control to one (or over) wheel is detected over 10s.
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON" and minimum vehicle speed over 12km/h (7.4mph)
Warning Lamp
  • EBD/ABS/ESC (ESP) Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
  • AVH Warning Indicator Lamp "ON" (The AVH warning lamp is activated in case of the vehicle equipped with AVH.)
Fail-Safe
  • EBD: back up control
  • Inhibit the ABS/TCS/VDC/HBA/VSM/ESS/HAC/AVH/SCC control
