DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Hardware monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty HECU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value
  • Abnormal RAM/ROM
  • Abnormal stack over/under flow
  • Abnormal operation of GPR
  • Abnormal operation on port resistor of ECU
    • Different value is recognized compare to initial setting value
  • Abnormal communication between main and sub MCU/main and EEPROM
    • Data change is recognized during clock sampling
    • Data communication is cut between main and sub
  • Abnormal EEPROM
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
Warning Lamp
  • EBD/ABS/ESC (ESP) Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Fail-Safe
  • -
