DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open/short in circuit of ESC/ESP OFF switch
  3. Faulty HECU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value
  • ESC/ESP OFF switch "ON" signal is received for more than 60s.
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
Warning Lamp
  • -
Fail-Safe
  • ESC/ESP OFF switch signal is ignored and normal system operation
