DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty output Speed Sensor Circuit
  3. Faulty output Speed Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is more than 10V
  • Engine Speed higher than 400RPM
  • Vehicle Speed higher than 50km/h (31mph)
  • Lever Position in "D" or "Sports" (Forward Gear)
Threshold value
  • Vehicle speed equivalent to output speed is less then vehicle speed * 0.3 or higher than vehicle speed * 1.7 (ex. Less than 15km/h (9mph) or higher than 85km/h (53mph) when vehicle speed is 50km/h (31mph)
Fail safe
  • Prior to fault confirm: Gear fixed at current range, output speed backup signal is fixed at 5th gear.
  • After fault confirm: Manual gear shift from 2nd to 5th is allowed.

Gear is fixed at 5th gear at 'D"

Output speed back-up signal output adaptive

    Learning is prohibited
