Component Inspection

Ignition "OFF".
Refer to ATM CONNECTOR REMOVAL & LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS and remove necessary parts to get access to ATM Solenoid connector and lift vehicle with suitable lift.
Connect VMI to KDS/GDS and set up an oscilloscope as follow (4-channel);
Channel A (+): Pin No. 11 (Input) terminal of ATM Solenoid.

Channel A (-): Pin No. 6 (Middle) terminal of ATM Solenoid.

Channel B (+): Pin No. 5 (Output) terminal of ATM Solenoid.
Engine "ON".
Specification : High - Approx. 1.5V/Low - Approx. 0.7V

Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace TCM and then go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace Output Speed Sensor and then go to "Verification Of REPAIR " procedure.
