Ground Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect EOTS connector.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Oil Temperature Sensor) terminal of EOTS harness connector and chassis ground. (A)
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Oil Temperature Sensor) terminal and Pin No. 2 (Sensor Ground) terminal of the EOTS. (B)
Specification: "A" - "B" = Below 200mV
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
