CAN communication circuit Inspection

■ Check for Open in harness 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect safety plug from the main battery (Wait for 15 minutes after OFF).
3. Disconnect FATC and EPCU main harness connector.
4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 10 (C-CAN-HIGH) terminal of EPCU harness connector and Pin No. 3 (C-CAN-HIGH) terminal of FATC harness connector.
5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 9 (C-CAN-LOW) terminal of EPCU harness connector and Pin No. 4 (C-CAN-LOW) terminal of FATC harness connector.

   Specification:  Approx. 1Ω

6. Is the measured resistance within specification?

   YES 

   • Check Each Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
