DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the input signal of inhibitor.
  1. Connector status
  2. Short to in Switch circuit
  3. Open to in Switch circuit
  4. Misalignment of shift cable
  5. Inhibitor Switch
  6. EPCU
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON" (Power Button LED "Red")
  • Auxiliary battery voltage (9 - 16 V)
Threshold Value
  • Input of unclear range signal (Invalid Code, P-R, R-N, N-D, D-B) is detected and maintained for more than 10 seconds.
Diagnostic Time
  • 4sec
