Component Inspection

■ Camera (MFC) Installation 

1. Refer to below Fig 1 and Fig 2 and reinstall the camera.

2. Ignition switch "OFF"
3. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
4. Ignition switch "ON"
5. Select "Vehicle S/W Management" on KDS/GDS.
6. Perform "SPTAC calibration" in "Vehicle S/W Management" with KDS/GDS.

7. Clear any DTCs stored in the system with KDS/GDS.
8. Re-check DTC in the system with KDS/GDS.
9. Did the same DTC is stored in the system?

   YES 

   • Go to "SPC calibration procedure" procedure below.

   NO 

   • Fault might be caused by not performing variant coding after LDWS ECU replacement. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ SPC calibration procedure 

1. Ignition switch "OFF"
2. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
3. Ignition switch "ON" & Engine "ON"
4. Select "Vehicle S/W Management"  on KDS/GDS.
5. Perform "SPC calibration" in "Vehicle S/W Management"  with KDS/GDS.

6. Clear any DTCs stored in the system with KDS/GDS.
7. Re-check DTC in the system with KDS/GDS.
8. Did the same DTC is stored in the system?

   YES 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace LDWS ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Fault might be caused by not performing variant coding after LDWS ECU replacement. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
