DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check EMS1 message time interval.
  1. Open or short in CAN harness of engine side
  2. Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON".
Threshold Value
  • PCM message isn't received. (3 sec) (9V < IGN Voltage < 16V)
Fail Safe
  • EPS warning lamp "ON".
Restoration Conditions
  • PCM message is received.
