Component Inspection

1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
3. Perform the "Actuation Test"  with KDS/GDS.

■ VIS Resistance Inspection 

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect VIS connector.
3. Measure resistance between power and control terminal of the VIS. (component side)

   Specification:  30.0 ~ 35.0Ω [20°C (68°F)]

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the VIS operate properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
   • If problem still occurs, replace VIS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
