Component Inspection

■ Check internal errors of B-CAN communication units. 

1. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF"
2. After connect KDS/GDS, select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"  mode.
3. Disconnect B-CAN communication units one by one and monitor DTC to find the cause.

   * Body CAN communication Control Units: BCM (Body Control Module), SJB (Smart Junction Box), SMK (Smart Key Module), AVN (Audio Video Navigation)

4. Is the DTC erased?

   YES 

   • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.

     If the problem is corrected, replace the unit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

     Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
