Control Circuit Inspection

■ Open & Short Circuit Inspection 

1. IG "OFF" and disconnect FRP connector.
2. IG "ON".
3. Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (High) terminal of FRP harness connector and chassis ground.
4. Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (Low) terminal of FRP harness connector and chassis ground.

   Specification: 

   FPR High Terminal Approx. 2.2

   FPR Low Terminal Approx. 0V

5. IG "OFF" & Disconnect PCM connector.
6. Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Low Control), Pin No. 2 (High Control) terminal of the FPR.

   Specification:  ∞ (Infinity) Ω

7. Is the measured Value within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

   NO 

   • Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
