Component Inspection: Notes
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect oil control valve connector.
- Measure resistance between power terminal (Pin No. 2) and control terminal (Pin No. 1) of the solenoid connector(Component side).
Specification
Item Specification Coil Resistance (Ω) 9.4~10.4 [20°C(68°F)] - Is resistance within the specification?
YES
- Go to Actuation Test procedure below.
NO
- Check oil control valve for contamination, deterioration, or damage. Substitute with a known-good solenoid and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace solenoid and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
