Component Inspection: Notes

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF" and Using a scan tool, clear the DTC
Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least one minutes.
Disconnect WCS sensor connector.
Substitute the WCS Module and check for proper operation.
Is DTC present problem?
YES
- Substitute a known-good WCS ECU and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace WCS ECU and then proceed to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure and proceed WCS Reset procedure below.
NO
- Substitute a known-good WCS ECU and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace WCS ECU or seat assembly and proceed to WCS Reset procedure below.
