System Inspection

■ Check Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Signal 

1. Connect GDS to DLC (Data Link Cable).
2. Select "Air Conditioner System" and Check "Current Data  " regarding ambient temperature sensor with GDS.

■ Inspection Ambient Air Temperature Sensor 

1. IG Key "OFF".
2. Disconnect AATS connector.
3. Measure resistance between signal and GND terminal of the AATS. (Component Side)

   Specification:

   -20 °C(-4 °F)	18.76~21.37	40 °C(104 °F)	1.504~1.616
   0 °C(32 °F)	7.26~7.954	60 °C(140 °F)	0.757~0.835

■ Confirm Part Inspection 

1. Does the AATS work properly? (Check variation)

   YES 

   • Go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known-good AATS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace AATS and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
