Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC)
  2. IG key "ON".
  3. Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
  4. Are any DTCs present?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and EPS/MDPS ECU memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
