Ground Circuit Inspection

■ Check Open In Harness 

1. IG "ON" and disconnect HO2S (S2) _DOWN connector.
2. Measure voltage between signal terminal "1" of HO2S (S2) _DOWN harness connector and chassis ground. (Measurement "A")
3. Measure voltage between signal "1" and ground terminals "2" of HO2S (S2) _DOWN harness connector. (Measurement "B")

   Specification:  Voltage difference between measurement "A" and "B" is below 200mV.

4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

   NO 

   • Repair contact resistance or open in harness and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
