GDS Data Analysis

1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. IG "ON".
3. Press the ESP (ESC) SWITCH.
4. Monitor the "ESP ON/OFF Switch" parameter on the "Current Data  " with GDS.

   Specification:  Parameter changes (refer to Fig 1 and Fig 2)

5. Does the ESP ON/OFF switch parameter changes as switch is pushed?

YES 

• Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in ESC (ESP) switch line or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

NO 

• Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
