GDS Data Analysis

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. IG "ON" & ENG "ON".
  3. Line up the wheel in a straight.
  4. Monitor the "Steering Angle Sensor" parameter on the "Current Data  " with GDS.

    Specification:  Approx -2 ~ 2 DEG

  5. Is parameter displayed within specification?

    YES 

    • Fault might be intermittent caused by poor connection in the steering angle sensor harness. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
