System Inspection

■ Visual Inspection 

1. Check alignment of the wheels after operating steering wheel at a center position.
2. Is alignment of the wheels normal?

   YES 

   • Check DTCs in ESC system. If there is a code related to SAS, Repair SAS according to DTC diagnostic guide of ESC system.
   • If there is no DTC in ESC system, substitute with a known - good SAS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace SAS and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Check alignment and repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
   NOTE: SAS 0 setting, which is a function of the ESC, should be performed after replacing SAS.
