Monitor GDS Data

  1. Ignition "OFF", Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Shift the gear to the P position & Ignition "ON" (Power Button LED "Red"), and select the "Current Data" mode.
  3. Check the relevant DTC item of Current Data. (Measure the sensor data through test driving if necessary.)

    Specification:  Refer to Fig 1

  4. Is the measured data within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or EPCU's connector or was repaired and EPCU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
    • Check the shift cable for loosening and misalignment. (Refer to the appropriate service information Shope Service Information.)
