DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • To check CAN Communication status
  1. Contact status of the connector
  2. CAN communication Line
  3. SMK Unit
Enable Conditions
  • Normal Battery Voltage
Threshold value
  • If error in internal circuit or CAN communication line for 2 sec.

* Error Status
  1. CAN High Battery Short
  2. CAN High Ground Short
  3. CAN High Line Open
  4. CAN Low Battery Short
  5. CAN Low Ground Short
  6. CAN Low Line open
  7. CAN High & Low Short
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
DTC Erasing Time
  • Clear with GDS after problem is fixed
  • If problem is not detected for 30 times of ignition cycle
