Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF" and disconnect Power Steering Pressure Sensor connector.
  2. Ignition "ON".
  3. Measure voltage between Pin No. 2 (Signal) terminal of Power Steering Pressure Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 5V

  4. Ignition "OFF" & Disconnect PCM connector.
  5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Signal) terminal of Power Steering Pressure Sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞ (Infinity)Ω

  6. Is the measured Value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
