Control Circuit Inspection
- IG "OFF" & Disconnect Cooling fan2 Relay connector.
- IG "ON".
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 5 (Cooling fan2 Relay Control) terminal of cooling fan2 Relay harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
- IG "OFF" & Disconnect PCM connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 5 (Cooling fan2 Relay Control) terminal cooling fan2 Relay harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Ω (Infinity)Ω
- Measure voltage between Pin No. 5 Cooling fan2 Relay Control) terminal of cooling fan2 Relay harness connector and Pin No. 91 (Cooling fan2 Relay Control) terminal PCM harness connector
Specification: Below 1Ω
- Is the measured Value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
