DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. ECTS
  4. Leaking or stuck open thermostat
Enable Conditions
  • Soak time is more than 6 hours
  • Startup IAT is less than 35 °C/95°F
  • Previous Shut-Down Coolant Temperature is greater than 60 °C/140°F
  • Startup Oil Temperature is less than 35 °C/95°F
Threshold Value
  • Engine coolant temp. is greater than 50°C/122 °F
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving cycle
