Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the shift cable after removing a clip (A) and nut (B)

    Tightening torque: 

    12.7 ~ 15.7 N.m (1.3 ~ 1.6 kgf.m, 9.4 ~ 11.6 lb-ft)

    NOTE: Do not reuse the clip (A).
  2. Remove the floor console.

    (Refer to Body - " FLOOR CONSOLE ")

  3. Remove the air duct (A).

  4. Disconnect the shift cable (A) from the shift lever.

  5. Remove the retainer after removing nuts (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
