Function:
The output sensor provides important input information for electronic controls. A wide range of operations use this information, including feedback control, damper clutch control, gear shift control, line pressure control, clutch activation pressure control, and the criteria to determine when the sensor has failed.
Operating Principle: Detects the RPM of the TCU turbine shaft and output shaft and sends this information to the TCM.
