Component Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect ECTS connector.
  3. Measure resistance between signal and ground of the ECTS. (Component Side)

    Specification:  Approx. 1.8kΩ at 81.9°F (27°C)

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect IATS connector.
  3. Measure resistance between signal and ground of the IATS. (Component Side)

    Specification:  Approx. 1.5kΩ at 83.3°F(28.5°C)

  4. Does the IATS, ECTS operate properly? (Check variation)

    YES 

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do the troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace ECTS, IATS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
