Control Circuit Inspection
- Check voltage
- IG "OFF" and disconnect IDB connector.
- Connect the probe to High/Low side of the injector circuit and select the oscilloscope in the menu.
- IG "ON".
- Check the voltage between injector control terminal of the IDB and chassis ground.
Specification: approx. 3.5V
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Substitute with a known - good IDB and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace IDB and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in injector control circuit between IDB and PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
