Monitor GDS Data

  1. Ignition "OFF", connect GDS.
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF", select "Current Data" mode.
  3. Monitor the "Battery Voltage" parameter on the GDS.

    Specification:  Approx. 12.5V

  4. Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON", select "Current Data" mode.
  5. Monitor the "Battery Voltage" parameter on the GDS.

    Specification:  Approx. 14.5V

  6. Is parameter within specifications?

    YES 

    • This may be a intermittent problem caused by poor contact of component or the EPS ECU.
    • Thoroughly check for looseness, poor connection, bent, corrosion, contamination, deformation or damage of connector.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
