Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON".
  3. Select "Current Data"  mode and monitor "Input Speed (PG-A)", "Output Speed (PG-B)", Shift Lever Switch", "Current Gear", "Engine RPM", "Vehicle Speed" parameter.
  4. Driving above 20 km/h (12.4 mph).

    Specification:  Increasing Gradually

  5. Is measured "Output speed sensor" value within specification?
    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact between PCM/TCM and Sensor, and DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
