Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition off & Engine off.
Disconnected "Sports mode switch" connector.
Measure "burn-in" between Sports mode switch harness and chassis ground.
Specification : Continuity

Is the measured continuity?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good Sports mode switch and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace Sports mode switch and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check harness for circuit short and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- If harness is normal then, Substitute with a known-good PCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
