Output speed sensor waveform Inspection
1. Connect "A/T solenoid valve" connector and GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
2. Engine ON and operate Input speed sensor.
3. Measure waveform between signal of Output speed sensor harness and chassis ground.

4. Is the measured waveform within specifications?
  YES
  - Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NO
  - Go to " 2 PCM Inspection" procedure.
PCM Inspection
1. Ignition off & Engine Off.
2. Disconnect "ATM solenoid valve connector.
3. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC) and select Simulation mode.
4. Input specification frequency to signal of Output speed sensor by simulation mode.

  - The values are subject to change according to vehicle model or conditions.
5. Is measured Output speed sensor value changed by Output frequency?
  YES
  - Substitute with a known-good Input speed sensor and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NO
  - Substitute with a known-good PCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
