Component Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Remove "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH"
  3. Measure continuity (resistance) between each terminals of the sensor
    1. Specification : approx. 0 Ω

  4. Is resistance within specifications?

    YES

    1. Substitute with a known-good PCM/TCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM/TCM as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO

    1. Replace "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
