Repair procedures (A5GF1): Installation

Install the control cable assembly from the transaxle. (Refer to REPAIR PROCEDURES (A5GF1) ).
Install the retainer and nuts.
TORQUE : 12-15 N.m (1.2~1.5 kgf.m, 8.7-10.8 lb-ft)

NOTE: In case, install the crash pad and cowl cross bar. (Refer to CRASH PAD and HEATER UNIT ).
Install the shift lever assembly (A).
TORQUE :

[A] 2-3 N.m (0.2~0.3 kgf.m, 1.4-2.2 lb-ft)

[B] 9-14 N.m (0.9~1.4 kgf.m, 6.5-10.1 lb-ft)

Install the sports mode connector (A).
