Control Circuit Inspection

Check short in harness
1. IG "OFF".
2. Disconnect A/C relay and ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance between terminal 85 of A/C relay harness connector and chassis ground.
  Specification: Infinite
4. Is the measured resistance within specification?
  YES
  - Go to step 2.
  NO
  - Repair Short in Coil control harness and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
Check open in harness
1. IG "OFF".
2. Disconnect A/C relay and ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance between terminal 85 of A/C relay harness connector and terminal 64 of ECM harness connector (C144-A).
  Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
4. Is the measured resistance within specification?
  YES
  - Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
  NO
  - Repair Open in Coil control harness and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
