Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal noisy check
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty FLS
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed > 35km/h (22mph) for 20 sec.
  • Wheel speed gradient < 1.8/1000 for 20 sec.
  • No relevant failure
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • Difference between measured fuel level signal and filtered fuel level signal > 50%
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
