Power Supply Circuit Inspection

Disconnect "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" connector.
Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Measure voltage between each terminal of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 0V

Is voltage within specifications?
YES : --> Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.

no : --> Check for Short in harness. Repair as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
