DTC P0125: Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the engine coolant temperature and time
  • Poor connection
  • Improper coolant level
  • Malfunctioning Cooling System
  • Faulty ECTS
  • Faulty ECM
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • AFS voltage > 1.7V
  • Engine Coolant at start is greater than or equal to -10°C (14°F)
  • Intake air temperature at start is greater than or equal to -10°C (14°F)
Threshold value
  • Time > 300 sec. at -8°C (17.6°F)
  • Time > 110 sec. at 20°C (68°F)
  • Time > 60 sec. at 82°C (179.6°F)
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • AFS voltage is less than or equal to 1.7V
  • Engine Coolant at start is greater than or equal to -10°C (14°F)
  • Intake air temperature at start is greater than or equal to -10°C (14°F)
Threshold value
  • Time > 300 sec. at -8°C (17.6°F)
  • Time > 200 sec. at 20°C (68°F)
  • Time > 60 sec. at 82°C (179.6°F)
Diagnosis Time
  • 300 Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
