DTC P0112: Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Resistance of sensor is monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Short to ground in IAT sensor circuit
  • Faulty IAT sensor
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Time after start > 2 sec.
Threshold value
  • Resistance < 0.09 kΩ
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
