DTC Description

The ECM monitors pressure stability in the fuel tank by means of Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) for a predetermined duration just before leakage monitoring begins to detect FTPS signal noise. The ECM sets DTC P0454 if the pressure fluctuation is higher than the predetermined threshold. If the fault is detected within two consecutive test cycles, the ECM illuminates the MIL.
