Component Inspection

Check if the sensor's output voltage decrease when vauum is applied to the sensor.

NOTE: If vacuum is applied severely to sensor, it may damage the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor. So, you must do it within specification.

Specification: Refer to the below PRESSURE REFERENCE .

Is the measured resistance within specifications ?
Yes
- Substitute with a known - good PCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known - good FTPS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace FTPS and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
