DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Pressure change in intake maniford is monitored, when EGR is operated intentionally during deceleration
  • Faulty EGR S/V
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine coolant > 75°C(167°F)
  • Load value < 22%
  • 970rpm < Engine speed < 1600rpm
  • Idle switch: ON
Threshold value
  • Pressure, PEGR < 19 mmHg
Diagnosis Time
  • 6.5 sec
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
