Control Circuit Inspection

Check for Open in Harness 

  1. IG KEY: OFF, Engine: OFF
  2. Disconnect HO2S connector (B-27) and ECM connector.
  3. Measure resistance between terminal 3 of the HO2S harness connector B-27 and A27 of the ECM harness connector B-01.
    1. Specification: Approx. 0Ω

  4. Is resistance display near the specified value?

    YES

    1. Go to "Check for Short to Ground in Harness" procedure.

    NO

    1. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

Check for Short to Ground in Harness 

  1. IG KEY: OFF, Engine: OFF
  2. Disconnect HO2S connector (B-27).
  3. Measure resistance between terminal 3 of the HO2S harness connector B-27 and chassis ground.
    1. Specification: Approx.?

  4. Is the resistance near the specified value?

    YES

    1. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

    NO

    1. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
