DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Time (Tdf) is monitored (elapsed time under 30°C (86°F) after over 30°C (86°F) once)
  • Temperature shifting is monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Defective ECT Sensor
  • Defective ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed > 1500 rpm
  • Load value > 25%
  • coolant at start > 7°C
  • Air temperature < 60°C
Threshold value
  • Tdf > 300 sec
  • Wtmax - Wtmin < 3°C
Diagnosis Time
  • 300 sec Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
