Check FLS

  1. IG KEY: OFF, Engine: OFF
  2. Disconnect FLS connector C-03.
  3. Check resistance between terminals 1 and 3 of FLS connector C-03 when fuel is added or subtracted.

    Specification:

    FLS SPECIFICATION REFERENCE CHART

    FLS Normal Parameter
    Float position Full gauge 3/4 1/2 1/4 Empty gauge
    Resistance 8Ω 30Ω 54.5Ω 98Ω 200Ω
    Fuel volume 71.3l  52.5l  37.5l  22.5l  5.6l 

    (Above specification's error range is ±2Ω.)

  4. Is the FLS normal?

    YES

    1. FLS is OK.
    2. Possibility of PCM malfunction.
    3. Test with a new PCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected replace PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO

    1. Repair or replace it. Then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
