Component Inspection

IG KEY: OFF, Engine: OFF
Disconnect IAT sensor connector (B-30).

Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the IAT sensor connector B-30.

Is IAT resistance within specifications?
YES
1. IAT sensor is OK.
2. Possibility of PCM malfunction.
3. Test with a new PCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected replace PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
1. Test with a new IAT sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace it.
2. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
