Check Intake System, Vapor Hoses

  1. Check that air leakage occurred in intake system.
  2. Check that there are cracks or poor connection in vapor hoses.
  3. Are the intake system or vapor hoses OK?

    YES

    1. Intake system and vapor hoses are OK.
    2. Possibility of PCM malfunction
    3. Test with a new PCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected replace PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO

    1. Repair or replace it. Then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
