Checking Vehicle Speed Sensor

  1. The sensor will detect the vehicle running speed at speedometer's gear part.
  2. Remove the speed sensor and measure resistance.

    Standard value: 3~10 kΩ

  3. Turn axis of the speed sensor and check the output voltage between terminal No. 2 and 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
